Associations International Named a 'Best Places To Work In Kentucky 2013' Winner
Lexington, Ky. (January 29, 2013) – Associations International (AI) has been named one of Kentucky’s Best Places to Work by The Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management and The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce in the small-medium sized employer category.
Associations International employs nearly 90 association professionals at its Lexington-based headquarters. AI, formerly a division of Host Communications and IMG, has been helping professional and trade associations promote their missions, build membership and seize opportunities for growth for over 40 years.

The Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management State Council (KYSHRM) and the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce host the Best Places initiative each year to encourage companies across the state to move their workplaces toward excellence. This award is based on the results of an internal employee survey and the outside assessment of the company’s employee policies and procedures. The small-medium category includes businesses with 25-249 employees.

Administered by AMC Institute, AMC Institute Accreditation is recognized and supported by ASAE & The Center for Association Leadership and is based on the ANSI Standard of Good Practices for the AMC Industry. ANSI requires that the standard be reviewed and updated regularly to remain an approved standard. Measurable performance practices include contracts and service delivery; employee recruitment, training and professional development; and financial management and internal controls, among others.
