AI is led by a team of experienced professionals. The structure is such that each association client has its own executive director and core staff who focus solely on the business of that association, while our team of shared staff focus on the "behind the scenes" function of each group.

 
BECKY BROOKS
Executive Director, Alliance for Women in Media and Alliance for Women in Media Foundation
Becky brings more than 16 years of association management experience to the Associations International (AI) team. Her background includes experience in governance, sales, publications, event management and strategic planning. Historically, Becky played an integral part in managing the day-to-day operations of AI associations that brings business tools, technical solutions and member servicing to professionals around the world. Becky is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a BS in Marketing. 
   
BRIAN CLARK, CAE
Executive Director, Kentucky Petroleum Marketers Association
Brian joined AI in 2012 with extensive experience in association management, marketing and publishing. A 17-year veteran of the petroleum industry, he has worked in marketing and membership management for the Asphalt Institute and PR/communications for Valvoline. With KPMA, Brian leads the staff team and champions the legislative and regulatory advocacy efforts for the petroleum marketing industry in Kentucky. He holds an MA in Communications from Wheaton College and a BA in Communications and English from Milligan College.
   
KATHY DEBOER
Executive Director, American Volleyball Coaches Association
Kathy has served in the staff leadership role of AVCA since 2006. She is a management generalist with broad experience in sports administration. Her positions in intercollegiate athletics include senior associate for external affairs, chief fundraiser, Olympic sports manager, senior woman administrator and coach. In addition to earning her MBA from the University of Kentucky, Kathy is a published author.
   
DAVID FELDNER, CAE
Executive Director, Association of Professional Dog Trainers
David brings more than 18 years of professional nonprofit management experience to APDT. His background includes growing membership, marketing, governance, strategic planning, bylaws, innovation, and meeting and convention management. David is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee with a BBA in Marketing.
   
LYNNE MCNEES 
President, International SPA Association
As an AI employee for more than 20 years, Lynne manages the operations of ISPA as President, representing spas and product companies around the globe. Lynne travels throughout the world promoting and representing the spa industry and also serves as ISPA’s official spokesperson by frequently being interviewed as a spa expert by major media outlets including The New York Times, Travel + Leisure, USA Today, Women’s Wear Daily, the Associated Press and numerous consumer and trade publications. A native of Dallas, Texas, Lynne is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a BS in Kinesiological Science.
   
MAGDALENA MOOK
Executive Director, International Coach Federation
Magda joined the ICF in 2005 and has supported the ICF with extensive experience in fundraising, development, consulting, and association management. Magda’s formal education includes an MS in Economics and International Trade from the Warsaw School of Economics in Poland and completion of the Copenhagen Business School's Advanced Program in International Management and Consulting. Magda is fluent in Polish, Russian, and English, and has a working knowledge of French.
   
LISA SIMON
Executive Director, International Inbound Travel Association
AI contracts with Lisa Simon, principal of The Simon Connection, LLC, to provide executive director services to the International Inbound Travel Association. Prior to forming The Simon Connection, Lisa served as the president of NTA (National Tour Association). Lisa specializes in association management, strategic planning, and tourism market development. With nearly 30 years of experience in association management, Lisa’s facilitation skills and analytical abilities have proven effective in leadership development, strategic planning, organizational structure and change management. Lisa has spoken on global and domestic travel, tourism marketing and travel industry trends throughout the United States and around the world.
   
CINDY STANLEY
Executive Director, Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance
Cindy has over 20 years of experience working with Associations on a local, state and national level. Cindy’s philosophy is that “There’s more than one right answer” and she uses that philosophy to help organizations grow. With her leadership development and strategic planning abilities, she has helped organizations develop and implement strategic plans that provide growth, accountability and fiscal responsibility. ASAE recognized Cindy with their Award of Excellence for her membership recruitment and retention abilities. She is an accomplished leadership trainer and has taught many courses including ethics, team building, real estate, antitrust, new member orientation, leadership development and fair housing.
   
ANNA L. TAYLOR, MBA
Executive Director, PipelinePros, Oracle Commerce User Group
Anna joined the start up in 2017 and has been responsible for all aspects of the organization’s business since day one. She has worked as a non-profit professional for 17 years with experience in operations, program development, fundraising and association management. Anna earned her business degree from Transylvania University and her MBA from Eastern Kentucky University.
   
JON VAUGHN
Executive Director, Quest International Users Group
Jon’s primary role for Quest is providing operational oversight. Jon is responsible for all aspects of the organization’s business primarily providing strategic leadership and directing daily operations. Since Jon accepted this leadership role in 2008, Quest has achieved exceptional success in the areas of community growth, customer engagement and customer satisfaction. Jon earned his MS in Sports Management from the University of Kentucky and a BS in Education from Longwood University.

PRESTON GORMAN, CISSP
Vice President of Technology Services
During his 20-year career in information technology, Preston has managed the strategic development of information systems programs in both the public and private sector. Preston has extensive experience in strategic and operational management of informatics, information security, unified communications, CRM, ERP, and cloud-based services. Preston has led large implementation projects for core system migrations, custom software development, website development, government system integrations, and data center modernization. Preston is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and is designated a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) by the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2).
   
KEITH HOWARD, CAE, CFRM
AI Vice President of Business Development
A graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, Keith brings more than 25 years of association management experience and industry knowledge to AI. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President to the Association for Healthcare Foodservice (AHF); the American Society of Health Care Food Service Administrators (ASHFSA); and the American Institute of Wine & Food. Keith is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) by the American Society for Association Executives and a Certified Fundraising Manager by the Indianapolis School of Philanthropy.
   
BEN POLK, CPA
AI Chief Financial Officer
Ben brings more than 17 years of financial management experience and expertise to AI with over 15 of those years in association management. In the CFO role, Ben directs all financial aspects of the business including accounting practices, budgeting, financial planning, interfacing with the financial community, financial analysis, acquisitions and ventures, and monitoring of financial performance. Ben graduated from the University of Kentucky with a BS in Accounting and then returned to earn his MBA with an emphasis on Corporate Finance. Ben earned his Certified Public Accounting designation in 2000.
